White foam?

Hi-- My 9 month old bully, Sadie, was throwing up white foam this morning...and clearing her throat a lot more than normal.  She didn't want to eat (and she ALWAYS wants to eat) and was not herself.  After a little nap, she ate and seemed fine.  Any ideas on how to prevent this from happening again?  Does lemon juice work?  She eats Royal Canin mixed with a little Wellness Core canned food.  She also gets fish oil once a day (just started that).  Any ideas will be appreciated.  I'm new to bullies, but I have 6 other dogs - various breeds.  I love them all!

Has the vet checked her palate?

She might have an elongated palate. Is she very snorty or raspy when she runs around or a bad breather?  Wouldn't hurt to have the vet look at that. If it is this, lemon juice will help but be very careful not to let it get into her lungs.  I worry so much about them aspirating on the lemon juice.

Here's a link

It could also be something as simple as an empty stomach.  Some dogs vomit just when their belly is empty. In which case you could give her a cookie before the usual time that it happens. Doesn't sound like that though if she didn't want to eat.  =(

It could have been

It could have been hunger...never even thought about that.  I'll have the vet check out her palate.  Thank you!!!

I have two of my four that can not go longer than 12 hours

Between a meal. I feed at 7 am in the morning and 7 pm in the evening. I give a cookie mid day, then a snack before bed. If I don't stay on that schedule, they will both vomit white foam and won't be terribly hungry when I feed...their tummy is upset until they calm down, then they will eat.
