Weird or normal?????

Ok, my sweet 1 1/2 year old female bulldog is developing black spots on both sides of her body. It looks like her skin is changing colors, but her hair is remaining the same color. We all pet her all the time and she doesn't seem sensitive in those areas, but it just happened in about the last 3 weeks. She has a regular check up appointment in 2 weeks where I'll have them look at her, but being a worrier, especially concerning my doggie, I thought that maybe you guys could shed some light on what is going on. Thanks!!!

It could possibly be Seasonal Flank Alopecia....

Thanks! I googled seasonal flank alopecia and that's exactly what it looks like. We live in Philadelphia and have a deck that she goes out on all the time, but it sounds like it could be a seasonal thing. I'm just happy it's nothing serious. Thanks again.

A little sunshine every day should help out a lot. Just not too much sun or she could overheat.
