Visceral hemangiomasarcoma

My 7 year old bulldog Tank just passed away from hemangiomasarcoma of the spleen and heart. Has anyone else known of a bully to die from this? My heart is broken. It was so shocking. I never had heard of a bully having it, so I was very shocked. He had no signs until the very end.

I have no experience with that cancer, but lost our boy to lymphoma at 6 years of age, you have all my sympathy, it's very hard to go through.

It's so very hard to bear. Just know that your baby was loved and that he has taken that with him over the rainbow bridge. I have no experience with this type of cancer.

While I don't know of bulldogs that have had this condition, I have encountered it in people. Unfortunately, by the time symptoms show, it's pretty involved.

A sudden loss like this must be unbearable. I have not heard of this. Did your vet say it is rare?

Thanks again to all of you! I have 2 boxer's that are almost 9 and a 1 year old yorkie. I can really tell that my boxers miss Tank a lot. Whenever I say his name, they look up as if to say where is he? I've really enjoyed looking at all the beautiful bulldogs. There's just nothing like a bully face to bring a smile.
