uti? bully has only peed once today
Submitted by candacecom on January 18, 2012 - 1:30amMy bully has blood in her urine i notice yesterday so i took her to.vet today. They wanted a sample that wasnt more than an hour old and she has decided not.to pee today...doctor put her on antibiotic incase its a uti but she has not peed since thus afternoon...im so worried ....hanna is.usually vqery active and now.she hesitates jumping up on bed..doing stairs etc...can anyone shed some light ..is this typical of uti..?...if she isnt better tomorrow we.go.back for.exrays ..

In the morning, give her ice cubes
to get water into her, thus making her have to urinate. Then off to the vet. UTI usually makes a dog urinate more often, not less.

thanks ...lynn and robin ...hanna seems a little better she stil
hesitates jumping up on couch and stairs...however the blood in her urine is gone...she is drinking water ...and peed...finally ...im also worried it somethign other than uti...we couldn't get a urine sample when we went to vet so maybe now i can..he put her on antibiotic and so now that she is going i can get a sample...her behavior is just not right so going back ..thanks for your input :) i appreciate it ...just sad when something is wrong with my babies

Wonder if it might be a blockage? A bit of blood could be from sharp edges of crystals and the reluctance to move from soreness from any blockage causing her to not pee?
