Just wanted to let everyone know that I took Stig in to be neutered this morning, and I just called them to check on him and they said he is doing great!  They said he even went outside to potty already!  I am so relieved.   I really liked the Dr. when we saw him for his consult, and he was very patient in answering all my questions and his staff took lots of time playing with Stig and talking with me.  When I dropped him off, I brought a bag with his food and treats and his blanket from his crate, and they verified his feeding schedule with me and made a note of how much food and how often he is usually fed, which I liked. The Dr. said that he could feel the retained testicle and that it was not in the abdomen, so he would most likely just make one incision.  Stig will be there until Wednesday, and I already feel so weird without him.  I am taking advantage of him being gone by shampooing and Scotch Guarding the carpet and furniture so its protected when he gets back!
