Update on Spike

We went back to the vet to recheck his ekg and his pvc went from one every fourth beat to every sixth or seventh. His first few seconds he had none. The vet consulted the cardiologist again and he said that he did not want to increase the meds more ( he is on 1/4 of the highest rec dose) He was also not even sure that such a low dose was even doing anything at all and ioncreasing might be harmful in certain situations.

So bottom line is Monday we go see the cardiologist for an echocardiogram and possible holter monitor :( Hopefully all will be well. They are thinking 1) possibly stress or 2) dilated cardiomyopathy

I am praying for it to be just stress related. PLease keep Spike in your thoughts and prayers.
