it was pyometra and we had to get her spayed . the vet said that is what we should do,to not have to worry that it won't hurt my baby in the future. My wife was devastated, she had hoped to breed her for one of her puppys before it was to late.but she (my wife) understood and just wanted her shoshanna back.we had shoshanna at the vets when they opened Thursday morning and we picked her up this morning at 9:00 am, and she was so happy to see us. The difference was like night and day,we could tell she felt much better. Thanks to you all for your concern and prayers.
thank you all for your help.
thank you all for your help
Well, it's unfortunate that she had to go through that
but I'm glad it all turned out OK. I've had one with pyometra so I figured that's what it was when you first posted. Seven years old is way too old to be breeding her anyway, so maybe this was for the best. Glad she's feeling better!
