Update: Milton gets fixed tomorrow

Took Milton in for his pre-op on Monday and they are hoping they can find the wee little diminutive non-dropped testicle in his flank or somewhere easy. Both our vet and another vet at the vet hospital we use are going to be in on his surgery and they are going to keep him overnight. So, tomorrow at 8am we take him in and then we can go see him in the afternoon but he won't come home til Friday, he'll have good 24 hour vet hospital care and be kept comfy and everything.
I'm sure I'm just a nervous nelly but I totally trust our vet. I'll update everyone tomorrow when we get word how it goes.

Milton is such a cutie! I bet HE doesn't think there is anything that need to be "Fixed" on him!!! LOL!
Make sure they use only ISO or Fluro gas:-) I tell EVERYONE that, just in case they don't know:-) No offense if you already knew!

I didn't know the specifics of which anesthesia they are to use, I have just had some convos with our doc(s) and they have talked about knowing the special needs of bulldogs and anesthesia and everything, I just didn't know how to specify which meds or whatever. Thank you for clarifying :)

Oh gosh, make certain you tell them NO ACE!!!!
they may "know" the specifics for anesthesia for Bully's but make sure you voice your absolute demand they NOT use Ace! I trust my vet, but I absolutely make SURE they know exactly what she needs!!

Acepromazine or anything like it didn't come into the discussion at all today, only throat tubes and gases and such. But I saw this too late to voice that very specific concern. I get to phone them here in a little while and doublecheck how he is, they said he could be done and awake as soon as noon :) I will update asap.

s long as he is ok during, he should be ok after....
If they gave him Ace. He is already out of surgery and doing well, he should be ok.
