Trachea and palette inspection

Well we took Mojo in at 8 months to see why he is getting so raspy in his breathing so quickly when playing or drinking.  They had to put him under to do it and that scares me but we needed to know.  Our fears were that he had a smaller than normal trachea, which could shorten his lifespan and make life tough all around.  I sat at work freaked out because my wife forgot to take here cell!!!  finally i get ahold of the office and she is sitting there talking to the secretary.  Then the secretary tells me she has bad news!  My heart drops for what seems like an eternity before she says just kidding!  Now, i can take a joke as well as anyone, but her pause was WAAAAYYYYYY to long.  I about reached through the phone and throttled her trachea.

Anyway,

Mojo has a very good trachea, no problems, his nostrils are really good too.  He does however have a short soft palette.  I have experience with a long palette but not a short one.  I was also told that he may outgrow this.  Any thoughts, besides beating a vet tech with bag of sand?

just my suggstion

leave it along.....all my bulls sound raspy...some once in a great while will cough up a hugh glob of white foam....their are some things that are just bulldog things....and at 8 months....i would wait.....

I'd mention that to the vet..

Not funny and totally inapropriate behavior. Maybe call her at work and tell her that her kid was hit by a car. Ha ha. just kidding.

I totally agree with Elaine! Does that girl not have common

sense??? She shouldn't be working there if she says that kind of crap to people who are hugely concerned and worried about their pet!!!!! I would tell her boss!!!!
