Too much protein in diet cause head tremors??

Was wondering if a higher protein food could cause head tremors? I have had my bullies on blue buffalo salmon wilderness for over a year and 1 has had several head tremors this year and never did before (at least 1 or more a month). He turned 3 in December and has not had surgery so that isn't what may have caused them. The food he is on does have a lot of protein in it.. it has 34%. I have tried other foods before and he has done the best on this food minus the head tremors. He has been on several types of natural balance and never did the greatest on it. Was looking at the other blue buffalo foods and they have oatmeal or rice in them and he is allergic to oatmeal. Should I try switching his food? Also suprisingly he is not overweight with eating this higher protein food. I haven't had any issues with my other bullies with the head tremors so I don't know if it could be food related or not?

hard to say

but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try changing it up.

I don't know about protein content and head tremors.

I have always associated them with low blood sugar in Sophia. She never had them on Blue Buffalo though, only on Taste Of the Wild. But she hasn't had one since I put her BACK on TOTW after having her on BB. I was using Blue Buffalo Basics grain free, but found out it had oatmeal in it! And...she pooped a LOT on BB. So I made the change.

My boy Spike did this, and I

My boy Spike did this, and I thought protein too, so i took him off the food he was on and went to a lower protein food and they went away.  He did have surgery though at a very young age.  My other boy Jackson has them still and he is three and a half, he also had multiple surgeries, so I saw a correlation between the protein and the head tremors in one of them.  High protein food isn't great for them either are they are prone to kidney disease, and the higher protein food makes the kidneys work more.
