Threw up dog food

Tuffy isn't prone to throwing up but today I noticed he pretty much regurgitated an entire meal--all the dog kiblets are still whole. There have been no dietary changes so is this probably just a case of him eating too fast?

Antibiotics?

Sometimes antibiotics can give a sick stomach because they kill off the good bacteria as well as bad.  Give yogurt or a probiotic 2 hrs. before or after antibiotics to help replenish the good bacteria.  Good luck!

Could have been speed eating, but I agree with trying Yogurt.

You need to get some good bacteria in the gut. Yogurt will do that:-) 1 tablespoon twice a day in his meals.

Thanks for the feedback!

Since this antibiotic has never upset his belly before  I'm thinking it might be that I walked him to the bus stop shortly after he had his midday meal and his food might not have had a chance to settle.... In any event, if it happens again I'll be looking into that probiotic. Unfortunately Tuffy has a problem with lactose so yogurt's out.....
