I am taking Tater tomorrow morning at 8am to her vet. However, I thought I would also post to get some feedback. Within the last three days, Tater's ears look funny. She does have allergies and is being treated with Hydroxzyne and Atopica. However, the edges of both ears look as if something is biting little pieces off. She doesn't appear to be in pain and is not itching at them or doing the bulldog dive bomb on the floor or furniture. Any idea what I may be told tomorrow?
sorry I have no idea, but wanted to wish you both the best.

Thank you!~
Hi, Kim, Sir Oliver and Lord Sebastian
Thank you! After taking a better look at Tater's ears tonight, I think it may be something as simple as Alopecia. It just looks awfully scary ~ thank goodness it's not contagious because Otis looks fine. I will let you know what the doc says. By the way, Sir Oliver and Lord Sebastian are very handsome!
Dogs get alopecia??? or just bullys lol
please let us know - im curious??? dont have a cat do you?
No cat
Hi, Karen and handsome Rocco ~
No cat ~ we tried a kitten when Tater was a pup, but she was just a little too rough with the poor thing. So, we opted for the Oatman (Otis). Figured another bully could keep up with her! I will definitely post when the vet confirms. I know Bullies definitely can get Alopecia, but not sure about all breeds. Otis has seasonal and Tater experienced Seasonal Alopecia a few years ago, but after taking Melatonin for a few months ~ she has been fine. Maybe she start up on the Melatonin again!
thank you very much.... please keep us informed

Dry ear edges...
Can you just easily pull off some of the little dry pieces all around the edges? If yes, this is simply because the blood vessels don't always reach all the way out to the edges and so it gets dry. Can be treated by applying animax (panalog) or any moisturizing lotion to the edges.
