DadtoMatilda had suggested using snout soother on Rex's nose. I got the trial size and used it for a week and Rex's nose is as smooth and soft as a bully's behind :-)

The vet had mentioned the black straight things on his nose are akin to warts, he had used some big word, which i dont remember now and said they could be removed with surgery, but tend to grow back and if they are not bothering him, not to worry about them. Sorry i cant remember the technical word for the condition. Thanks Matilda's Dad, hope she is doing well :-)
