Stenosis
Submitted by noggin on July 10, 2010 - 5:07pmHello everyone! I have a Bullog that is 3/4 American and 1/4 English. She will be 10 in November. She has been diagnosed with stinosis of the spine. The first treatment they tried they put her on prednisone as well as doxycycline, which seemed to help. Then they stopped the meds. She has since regressed and is stumbling around and falling quite often. So they started her back on the meds. She is taking (2) doxycycline everyday for 15 days and a prednisone every other day. She started back on these meds on Tuesday, but she isn't responding as of yet and is still falling and stumbling around. She doesn't seem to be in much pain at all, but its just sad to watch. She is also taking glucosomine w/MSM as well. We have all wood floors, which doesnt help her at all. She slides around on them constantly. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do, other than what is already being done? Thanks...

i had a rotty
that had spinal degenaration..... i bought some rubber mats and laid them out thru out the house so he always had a path to travel....i also did accupuncture and that helped him alot
