Hello everyone,
So yesterday I started feeding a 100% raw diet to JoeyBagOfDonuts. I was a little nervous about giving him raw chicken with the bones, but I watched him eat it with no problems and HE LOVED IT!!! This morning he actually pawed at me while in bed to wake me up to feed him!! He never did that before! So we ate chicken with bones again and as I was doing his AM skin fold wiping I noticed his front paws were WAY LESS RED and irritated. I don't know if this is possible to see such a drastic change, but I definitely observed the decrease in irritation today.
For all those raw feeders out there, I have been reading mixed information regarding feeding pork. Is it ok or is it risky? What do you guys do??

pork is ok
i use just a little most people will use pork as a new protein to check for allergies.....and yes once you take away the food that is casuing the allergies the feet and ears start to clear right up...careful of to much bone you dont want your dog to become constipated ok...remember bone is 10% of your meal....
I feed pork
and YAY!! on the raw feeding! For a while our grocery store had huge pork packs on sale so my dogs ate a LOT of it.

and I forgot to say
I also noticed an immediate change in my dog when she started on raw. She had been scratching her face like crazy on everything and that stopped very quickly. But the most immediate and drastic change was she went from vomiting EVERY day to never vomiting a raw meal, ever. She has a very sensitive stomach I guess, 'cause she vomits anything cooked, or freeze dried. The only exception is dehydrated bananas, and we make those ourselves so we know there is NOTHING added to them.
