Speaking of Audrey's sensitive stomach

Sat night, or technically early Sun am, Audrey threw up, on my bed of course, FIVE little pieces of rice, and what appeared to be the cat's yacked up hairball. On my bed.

She had been insanely itching her face all day Sat, it was red and puffy and getting bumpy on her chin. I figured she ate something but couldn't figure out what. My daughter ate chinese food Fri, and apparantely dropped a few grains of rice. Like 5. Audrey must have snarfed them out of the carpet. And then snarfed up a hairball. She ate Sat breakfast, Sat dinner, then later that night threw up ONLY the 5 grains of rice and the hairball? HOW does her stomach do that? She got a baby fingernail sized piece of dehydrated liver once, and threw that up, on my bed of course, too. HOW does her stomach digest big chunks of meat, bone, and liver, but reject miniscule pieces of anthing not raw?

I thought it was just us

Roxy does the same. Eats a pound of meat/bones but throws up the cooked baby carrot....and only that.....so bizarre

glad Audrey is not the only one!

it is SO annoying though! Every once in a while we feel guilty that she gets NO treats and we'll give her a bite of what we're eating. She generally 'gifts' it back to us later that night, on our bed. YUCK
