I have been through a TPLO just recently and I can't tell you how much recovery is key.. I spent many days sleeping on the floor with her and many night carrying her down my steps.. The surgery is invasive and I knew that so expect your baby's leg to be bruised and battered, It took me some time to get over that but knowing that she would be pain free in no time.. The surgery really is harder on the owner, these dogs are just happy to be back home and back to routine.. Keep her busy and really pay attention to the first 10-15 days, thats when infections and etc is the highest.. Also the thing about this surgery is it puts them back on their feet quick and they will think they are so much better before they are.. If you have any questions let me know.. I have seen the ups and downs with this surgery but still do not regret it.. My lola is so active and flys around a hundred mile an hour so I had to fix her knee so she could continue her wild ways..
well at least you got some good news!
that she's up.
I can't stand to sleep without Audrey either. {{hugs }}
