sneezing
Submitted by loriw on August 15, 2011 - 8:43pmbubba has been sneezing quite a bit today and I have noticed his nose is a bit runny. Is this a cold or should I be watching for something else? He has an appointment with the vet on Wed. for his Kennel cough immunization. Could this be allergies? Appreciate any thoughts on the matter.
couple of questions
Does the sneezing sound "wet" or just a normal series of sneezes for him? Is the mucus clear or does it have a color to it? Is he coughing or gagging at all (more than "normal")?
Based on your initial description it sounds like allergies, but it's definitely good that you're going to see the vet this wednesday! That way everything can be checked out to make sure it isn't anything serious (and you don't have people on the internet "diagnosing" the problem...ha!).

he is sneezing more than
he is sneezing more than normal and his nose discharge is clear. his cherry eye keeps coming back more than normal as well. I noticed the change after I gave him a smoked lamb bone we got at the pet store.
probably allergies
your vet will have some advice on how to help give your little guy some relief. Winston has terrible seasonal allergies (spring primarily), perhaps your boy will have fall/ragweed allergies. Just talk it over with your vet. There is a lot of good info on this board in previous threads about allergies and how to "help" them as well as articles on the main page. I hope you can find a remedy for your boy!! :)
PS...I'd really love to see a couple pics of him if you get some time to post them!!
