small bumps on skin
Submitted by snagggga on February 14, 2011 - 9:20pmfranks is six moths old now and weighs 65lbs i've been feeding him a grain free food (nature's variety instinct duck meal & turkey meal formula) for about a month now and have noticed some little bumps on him skin could it be alergeys and what kind of food can you recomend frank is my first bulldog

are they raised bumps like hives? Or are they scabby lumps? If they are scabby lumps it could be a staph infection.
bumps come and go
they are raised bumps, some days there are more bumps than others. today i gave him a bath and only feld a couple of them, a week ago i felt about ten or fifteen i was giving him milkbone biscuts but have not given him any for about a week. could they have been the cause? & any opinion on treats? thanks

There are grain free treats out there, I seek those out for my boy. All natural with no fillers. =)
If they are bothering him (itching real bad), you could give benadryl 1 mg per pound of his body weight. My boy had a terrible problem with Tide Detergent and a few other strong cleaners. I switched to Arm and Hammer Detergent and now I clean with water and vinegar. Voila.
