Sick Doggy

HI there im new to this , But my bully is 4 years old and this morning has been throwing up  and is just generally laying around We make pretty sure that he doesn't get into anything as we know how it effects him he's fed only his high quality dog food that is duck and potato as everything else he's allergic to , He used to get constant ear infections , they have passed now iwth the food switch , hOwever now this happens about every few months , He started early this AM and it was just yellow bile , and then he threw up his breakfast , Please help I can't stand to see my baby sick , nor can i afford a $ 600.00 vet bill just to check to make sure he's ok , if needed I will ., but id rather not !

Could the heat be affecting

Could the heat be affecting him? All of our pets have been just sort of sprawled out on the nearest cool tile they can find the last few days. No throwing up, but I know that the heat can affect ME that way if I don't take care of myself. If you don't have AC, try to cool him down with a cool, wet towel on his belly, or a shallow cool bath, maybe?

do you feed once or

twice a day...wilson throws up yellow bile if i dont feed him in the morning.....how do his gums look are they white  and pale thats not good....what is his temperture

is it normale......i know vet bills are expensive  so you need to learn as much as you can when you dog is normale and when he is not feeling  well.....so then you can tell the difference between an emergency vet bill and ok i can wait....

we people here on a computer cannot touch or feel or see your dog...how can we tell if he does or not need care......

try feeding small meals several times a day....make sure he is drinking plently of water....it could be the heat  but? i dont know

Thanks severyone for your

Thanks severyone for your comments , He's only gotten sick three times today , We feed him twice a day , in the morning and at dinner time , It's not hot where i live yet , And he gets all the fresh clean water he can drink . If he is not better by this evening , I shall take him in the morning. Thank you for all your ideas about the heat ! I wish it was that easy As i know they are not dogs that do well in the heat ! I Wish it was warm here but were in BC Canada and it's still cold here ! For some reason our summer has not started yet , but it's better for my little man so im happy for that ! Is there any other causes that would just make him throw up like that ? Thanks again for all your posts . They were mostley helpful .

One of our guys tends to throw up frequently...

we started giving him Slippery Elm (you can get it at health food stores) and he's been fine ever since.  It was recommended to us when one of our boys was on chemo.

it can be too many things...

yellow bile - need more treats in between meals or you need to split up the meals because his stomach is too empty.

white phlegm/food - our bully had pneumonia when she would barf this...

food- upset stomach? pancreatitus? eating too much human food?

any poo? - blockage, did he swallow a toy?

trying to puke and cant get comfy- bloat!

did you see if a little white rice/with a little chicken/beef would stay down?

if your bully is just laying around , being lethargic, better take him to the vet... thats usually a sign of something worse then just a tummy ache.. good luck!
