Can cause stomach upset. Make sure to give meds with meals. Also, try giving a probiotic or some plain yougurt to help overcome stomach issues and replace good bacteria.

I found the easiest way to give Milton his Doxycycline and Prednisone tablets was to just drop them on top of his dry kibble. He gets his meds in the morning with breakfast, that way, and now no stomach upset -- he just devours them. Then in the evening with dinner he gets about a tbsp of plain yogurt to help with the other issues.

Maybe you should try a little boiled rice and boiled hamburger until you can call the vet.

Glad she's not done it again. They can
sure worry us. Good advice you received to give meds with food.
