Shadow chasing
Submitted by skattermom on July 11, 2010 - 2:45pmHas anyone experieced this crazy behavior, Adolff literally drives himself crazy when just before the sun goes down and afterwards. He will be right beside me just looking and maybe antisapating
(mis-spelled ) his own shadow and he whines like crazy. I think aw my poor boy torments himself so I will keep the lamps off as much as possible. My adult son says that he acts as if the shadows are going to get him. I hate to see Adolff get scared every single night. Thank goodness we have an early bed time. Anyway maybe I'll download a video of his shadow chasing...Bulldog are different, Huh!
It could very possibly be an eyesight issue.
Have you had his eyes checked thoroughly by a good Bulldog vet or canine opthamologist? I would start there. My girl is terrified of shadows at dawn and dusk...she has eye issues and can't tell what they are.
