My only 1 year old girl had a soft bump on her front leg, I thought it was just trauma related....she is on alot of antibiotic and seeing a great vet recommended on the vet list...just overwhelmed with diagnosis...thanks

Hi...My bulldog has a joint infection, left front leg. She had some swelling above the joint...I thought it was stress related...maybe even an old fracture from jumping off beds....but she is positive for sepsis in the joint. She is on antibiotics, being rs at a vet who specializes in bulldogs and I am just prayiing for the best. Thanks

OMG - i can't believe all the ailments I have read. Im starting to keep a little log. Bully's are def different than any other dogs. I thought Boxers had problems {which mine has the enlarged heart, had to put one down cuz of bad kidneys poor girl}
Sepsis
My beautiful little girl had swelling in her front leg....thought it was just stress related, started getting bigger, brought her last week. Tets confirmed sepsis in the joint? I am praying that the infection can be managed without furthur complications. She is eating, walking around, has been limping a bit on the leg....my Vet is excellent, I am watching her health closely. How could a dog get a joint infection?? Vet did not know either, but trying to consult with other bulldog owners if anyone has had this problem...thanks Karenlovesbullies

wow. How did she come across that?. Did she have any cuts or open wound's that you did or didnt see where the lump is?... your EXTREMELY lucky you caught that in enough time, not that i am trying to scare you, Im not but that could have been really bad had u not been on top of it!. Hope she feels better soon!.

I have no idea how a dog could get a joint infection...she was negative for lyme and heart worm, just praying for a good outcome, she is so beautiful.. I will send photo...thanks Karenloves bullies

Thanks for your words of encouragement. No, she had no wounds or cuts on the leg, I only wish I had brought her to the vet as soon as I saw the bump on her leg....morale of the story is never wait, I had a bulldog before for many years, I should have known, but my Vet said who would think that an infection could be causing the swelling...hopefully all will be well.
