Please look into the benefits of Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil.  I recommend Nutivia and you only have to give him a tiny little bit every other day (skip weekends so probably MWF) in his food or on the spoon. 1/4- 1/2 teaspoon I'd say since he is so little.  It was recommended to me by a friend who has a pure white Dogo Argentino with some health issues.  You can get it at the Vitamin Shoppe.  They have smaller size jars as well and will match the online price if you print the page off and bring it to the store.
