Scratching paws into poo ? ?

Hello I have a 4 year old male bulldog. He started scratching the ground after he go's poo. He only used to do it when he urinated but now he does it all the time. The problem is hes always going poo then scratching the grass then getting the poo all in his paws. So my question is, is there anything I can do to help the problem ? ? Like training or etc ? ? Or will he always do this ? ?

Thanks so much for anyhelp =]

Poo Flinger

If I remember right it is leaving the scent behind by digging the paws into the ground.  I always tell Chum to "watch out" and he takes off like a little bandit.  If you feed him a raw diet his poo is much smaller like a hershey kisses and only goes once a day so there would be less chance he would get dirty, just sayin'.

Nummy

Simply stated:    Chicken, turkey, beef, pork, lamb, rabbit, venison the list goes on....  All raw with the bones.  Of course there is a process behind it.

I believe this is a trait

I believe this is a trait that all dogs have.  Some might use it to mark their territory. Baxter has done it since day one.  Sometimes he steps it but after he found out it doesn't taste or smell nice he has learned to step foward away from it. Baxter likes to lick his paws.
