And just add the whole pill right to the food once a day. It has made Sophie's skin SO soft!! And it is good heart health, too:-) You can buy it anywhere...I buy mine at Wal-Mart for fairly cheap.
Make sure it's WILD Salmon oil so that your dog doesn't get unsafe levels of Mercury. I use the Grizzly Salmon oil. The dogs love it and it gives them shiny healthy coats. Some people do flax seed oil and various Omega 3 pills.

Hi Amy O,
How many pumps do you use of the grizzly oil and did you start at a lower dose ? I tried the Iceland Pure Salmon oil in the past and it upset my boy's sensitive tummy...

I use this also, and have on and off for years. Start slow...1 pump for a week or so then increase. It can make stools lose. I just put Ester back on it and started with 1 pump twice a day and have noticed a difference in just 4 days. She really dumped her coat after the puppies. I don't think you would have to actually use what is recommended. Remember the more you use the more you have to buy, so I think they up what is really necessary. Ester is 50 lbs and is showing great coat improvement with 2 pumps a day.

Doggiefood.com, amazon, etc. I am so lazy that I almost never get anything from a petstore anymore because it's so much cheaper and more convenient to get it online. But then again, I don't have a walmart down the street. You always get the best deals there!!

I am going to start on the Ester C first and then give it a few weeks and then try the Grizzly oil extra slow. Now that I finally have Tuffy's loose stool under control I certainly don't want to go back to that!!
My husband is in charge of feeding the dogs. I do it everyonce in a while and I only do 1 pump, I also throw on some showstopper. I think my husband adds a omega 3 pill as well. We supplement a lot
I use Salmon Oil gel caps

Grizzly salmon oil question
Hi Amy O,
How many pumps do you use of the grizzly oil and did you start at a lower dose ? I tried the Iceland Pure Salmon oil in the past and it upset my boy's sensitive tummy...
Thanks!
The pumps should appear
according to weight. I use four pumps for Kofi at 50 pounds.
Grizzley Salmon Oil
I use this also, and have on and off for years. Start slow...1 pump for a week or so then increase. It can make stools lose. Hey Deb, where do you buy the liquid oil?
I am buying Wild Norwegian Salmon gels at Wally World. Ha ha:-) Hey, the Wal Mart in my town sells horse feed and wormer, joint supps, etc! Never saw one that sold that stuff before!!

Mud Bay or Pets Energy
Any high end pet store will have it. I have also ordered it on line. I think any Wild Salmon Oil is fine...doesn't have to be Grizzley.
I buy Wal Mart Wild Norwegian Salmon...
I bought another thing of it today. I am gonna check my pet food store when I go tomorrow though and see what they have. Thanks for the info.

You have a good husband....
When I ask the hubby to feed Tuffy or clean his wrinkles he always grumbles!!
Thanks for the info on how much you pump...
Aww I'll tell him you said that
We have 3 and 3 kids so we have to be a team. He puts more love into their meals than he does when he makes something for himself.
