Misquitoes are bad here now, and the city sprays but it's not enough. I wonder what type of yard spray is safe with the dogs? I guess to spray the whole yard as it's small. I went out to kill one on the glass of the storm door and found 5 so I gotta do some thing. Anyone?

Mean people still suck
I may get blasted...
But I use Bug-B-Gone. It comes in a container you can hook the hose right up to and you can spray everything. You have to wait until it completely dries to let animals bak out in the yard, but it does do a great bug killing job!

I do the same when we are in our house in Tx....
Little buggers are BAD and the only way to protect us all is to use the chemical bug stuff. But I am very diligent about not letting them outside for several hours as it dries. Up here in Washington State I don't use anything.
And in Texas, it's not just mosquitos....
Our next door neighbor lost their Daschund to a Brown Recluse Spider bite. Devastating. We have so many nasty bugs, ants, and mosquitos carrying Heartworm.
I have mine professionally done as I am too scared to mess with chemicals. They tell me it's OK for my dogs, after it's dried.
I know the chemicals aren't good, but the bugs here are probably worse!
Your right! I live in South Texas....it's horrible!
There are just some things we "have" to do to protect our pets and family...unfortunately this is one of them!!
I live in north central Texas, the bugs up here are horrid.
I spray and spray. It lasts a week or two, then right back to bug heaven here. Holy cow, I didn't know there were so mnay bugs in the world!

Use bounce
fabric softener sheet to wipe down your skin and the dog and keep one poking out of your pocket to keep the mosquitos away.
I have heard that before!!
I also use Mosquito traps and bug zappers....and don't let the dogs out at dusk when they are the worst.
