So, I think my Boss Man has a cold or sinus infection... he is whiteish/greenish snot and does something that sounds like a half choke half cough... should I take him to the vet or just wait it out like a human cold?!? He is eating and drinking water normal, and playing around in the house, just a little sick acting...What do you guys think?!

My swimming bully buddy!
Thanks! Dr appt went well...
She thinks since he has been on the Cyclosporine, it has made his immune weak, and since he was boarded all last week she is sure he caught a little cold... But no fever!! She was a little concerned listening to his right lung since bullies are susceptible to pheumonia... We are off the cyclosporine for a week and have a high dosage antibiotic and something to dry him up! If he isn't better or is worse in 2 days we are going back for x-rays!

Kennel cough..
I'd keep the vaporizer going....might make him more comfortable.
Why is he on Cyclosporine?
make sure your on top
of this....in 2 days if their is no sign of improvement get that x ray....bulldogs and pneumonia are not good...it took wilson 4 months and three different antibotics to clear up....and he was only 15 weeks old...he was flown to me and we felt he got it then,,,,,
keep us posted...also keep the fluids going make sure he is drinking alot of water.....i would get some pedilyte and add a little to his water....
Judy is right...stay on top of this with that pup.
Sophie had horrible pneumonia as a baby. She was so sick and had to be incubated for 2 weeks...an unheard of amount of time. She didn't recover for months. She was only 8 weeks old when she got it...she was a pet store puppy. Poor girl. But she is fine and healthy 5.5 years later and hasn't had any issues as a result of the illness. But she did almost die from it, so nothing to be toyed with.

Agree Micki - Sounds like Kennel Cough
and yes stay on top of it. This can get bad in a hurry and go to pneumonia. It is also very contagious, keep him home away from other dogs.
