Rimadyl vs Novox

My Opal is 10 years old & she has quite a bit of arthritis in her shoulders. I've just started her on Rimadyl (50mg twice a day). Has anyone tried Novox which is the generic form of Rimadyl? It's less expensive and I want to know if it works just as well.
Opal can't have gluocosomine because she's allergic to fish.

Funny I was just talking about Novox
with a good bully friend last night. She says it is a miracle drug! Never tried it myself but she said it has worked wonders on her dogs. I know the Rimadyl is bad for the liver not sure if the Novox is better as far as that goes - but she swears by it! She has five dogs (one bully) and has used it on more then one. Good luck hope Opal feels better.

I have found that it works great for arthritis.
Rimadyl vs. Novox
I have been using Novox on my dogs for over a year. It is great & much cheaper than Rimadyl - has same ingredients as Rimadyl.
