My bulldog Brody is 9mo old and a week ago had developed a quarter sized red hairless bump on his chest. It doesn't seem to bother him...it was swollen but now it has gone down but still visible. Would anyone know what this may be? No pus or crust on the bump. Bug bite?

Hi,
Have u switched to a new food? New treats maybe?
Hard to tell
Could be a hotspot, the beginning of demodectic mange or a skin infection. Have the vet look at it and scrape that area.
Could be hystiocytoma...
......and if so, harmless and will resolve on its own. Hard to tell in photo.
THANKS FOR THE INFO EVERYONE...UPDATE
I STARTED PUTTING HEMROID CREAM ON THE LUMP AND IT HAS STARTED GOING DOWN. IT ALSO HAS STARTED REGROWING HAIR. IT NOW LOOKS MORE PINK LIKE SKIN INSTEAD OF RED. THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE FOR YOUR IMPUT.
