My bulldog Beefy's folds on the side of his face are red and irritated. I tried Desitin, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any other suggestions?

My bulldog Beefy's folds on the side of his face are red and irritated. I tried Desitin, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any other suggestions?
We had the same problem...
I clean it daily with peroxide, dried gently with a cotton pad and put Desitin on. It took the Desitin about 2 weeks to do any good, but it finally worked and it's not irritated any more.
