Hi.....the vet can't see Sophie for another 2 days, so I thought I'd see what y'all think of these....
Aside from the leg, she has a few on her back...we can feel them when we pet her. I'm very concerned, BUT
for her sake, we've noticed she NEVER itches them and doesn't seem annoyed by them at all.
There are none on her tummy, or underside at all ....this kind of looks like the puppy pyoderma she
and Meaty have had before, and the vet had us clean them with plain Listerine, which really helped.
.....
....
I'm so afraid it's flea bites, but the images I've seen online don't look like this. Also, we have never seen anything
resembling a flea in our yard, house, on Meaty or Sophie, so I'm just not sure. I don't know if you have to SEE
the fleas for them to have bites....NO experience with fleas at all.....
....
Of course we're also considering some other type of insect bites, maybe an allergy to something in our yard, etc...???

Your picture is really hard
Your picture is really hard to see, but what Brewer had sound similar and he had bacterial foliculitis. It looked like he had crusty pimples on him. The vet told me it was cuz I bathed him too often (one week i had to give him a bath 3 times because he kept finding the mud) and his skin dried out and started to flake which clogged his poors, hench the pimple like things. Brewer was on antibiotics for 3 weeks and now hes completely normal. Whatever it is I wouldn't be too worried about. I am sure it can wait till you get into the vet. Good luck with the answer.
Agree
I don't think it is bites but a bacteria or staph. Nothing serious.
Thanks for the respones.....I did get her into the vet TODAY
after all, and he is almost SURE it is an allergy to something outside, plant-wise. She is on Cephalexin and a low dose of Prednisone.
In the meantime, also noticed Meaty had some raw spots on his chin, along with some areas that
were very yellow and dry crusty----staph infection---so he is also on some antibiotics....
.....
so glad I got them into the vet today after all.....the vet said he saw a doggie with something
similar to Sophie's, but it was MUCH worse...glad we got it nipped in the bud today!
