Good morning! Can some tell me, what does it mean when you bully has loose hips? I recently picked up a new addition, a 12 week old girl, named Maggie, and we brought her in and she got a excellent exam, and said that she was fine in all areas, but when you stick your hand on her back side, near the tail where the ""hips" are, you can feel the hips moving, and hear a slight clicking...The experienced vet told me this was not a concern to worry about..any experts out there, that could give me some advice..I would greatly appreciate it!
normal
for bullies.
Very normal in young dogs.
You can alleviate future issues to some extent by adding Glucosamine to the diet. I give one Capsule, 1000 mg plain Glucosamine Sulfate daily in a meal.

It sounds you have a good Bulldogwise vet! I would start this little kid with some calm exercise on leash! Just a few 5 or 10 minutes walks on leash each day, so he/she can start to grow some muscle in a calm way. Be carefull that he can't slip on slippy floors while playing with your other dog. It might be wise to invest in some temporary carpet, if you have slippery floors. Buy cheap carpet, so you can trow it away.....
