Question on Raw Diet + Question on something found on Paw

Hello Bulldogs World,

It's been a few months since I posted on here. Hope everyone weathered this crazy winter! Today I started Bubba on Raw....Since he was a puppy he has been on TOTW Pacific Salmon and although it's been great for him, he's been sort of bored with it. I've always wanted to put him on Raw but never pulled the trigger until now. So far so good, he ate up his food and seems to love it. My question:

- I am currently feeding him Natures Variety Frozen Patties (Have both beef and chicken) and purchased Primal Chicken Necks....What is everyone's opinion on Natures Variety? I went with them as they were close to the same ingredients as Primal, just a bit less expensive. Although I find that the patties are very convenient, I may want to find a less expensive route eventually. Any suggestions? Also, he takes 1 NuVet wafer a day for his Vitamins & Minerals.

Question #2

- He has on his left front paw between one of his toes what looks like a reddish pimple or ingrown hair. Is this exactly what it looks like or something else? If anyone has seen this before, please advise.

Thank you all for any suggestions and feedback. Here is a picture of Bubba from Christmas. I promise to post some more recent ones shortly. :-)

Hi, we feed raw but we don't

Hi, we feed raw but we don't feed pre-made raw, I don't know much about them so I can't help out with the brands you are talking about, you could save yourself alot more money if you decide to buy your own meats and feed that way. The pre-made raw is pretty expensive for what you could get on your own. If you decide to go this route just ask away.

The thing on his paw could be...

an interdigital cyst.  Some people do soaks, I use Preparation H on them 3 times a day for a few days and they usually clear right up.  You can try epsom salt soaks, but do one or the other, not both.

Natures Variety

I have fed Natures Variety Raw patties for maybe 3 years now, could be longer.  4 dogs...great results. It is expensive, but easy and well worth it IMO.
