My Female Bully had some puppies. They are all healthy, but I have a concern in regards to one of them. I believe I know what the answer is to his problem but I thought I'd ask any way just to make sure. Here's the problem, he is healthy but, his coat looks brittle and I guess you could say ratty looking. He also seems to have some small sores which also look like red spots. Would you guys be able to help me out with what his problem would be? We love them all very much and it hurts me to see him like that.
Not sure what that is,
But I am guessing maybe mange or an allergy.

I'm thinking you are right
I thought it might of have been because of hot spots, but I believe you might be right about it being an allergy. Am taking them to the vet today and will see if they are able to diagnose for sure. Thanks for the help.
I would check into Demodex...
When we took Boss Man to see our first vet, for similar symptoms when he was right around 1 year old, that vet told us that Demodex can be contracted from the mother when they are born and show up right away, or as in our case, later! We've been through countless round of antibiotics, skin scarpes, etc and FINALLY, after a vet change, food change (wellness core grain free), we did around of a powerful antibiotic injection, Cyclosporine, and Mal-A-Ket shampoo baths 2 times per week! His coat is still a little brittle, but NO BUMPS nor severe itchiness! THANK GOODNESS (and knock on wood)!
good luck!

That does not sound good.
Wow, that is not something I wanted to hear, I will have the Vet check it out today when I take them all in. Poor little thing, I'm really hoping it is his food, I don't know, but will find out. Thanks for all the info.
Yes, Demodectic Mange, or mange.
That is what I had mentioned as well. Your vet can do a skin scraping and tell you if it is mange.

Hurray, Puppy and I were lucky.
Just came back from Vet. Was told that the puppy had a skin infection. Gave me medicine and some type of special shampoo. It came from my 6 puppies all rolling around in their poop and pee.(used to have 9) I clean their room 3 or 4 times a day but apparently that is not enough. I will start cleaning their room 6 or 7 times from now on and will also keep three in a large kage and leave 3 in their room. They are all kept inside my house, so you can imagine all the poop and pee. Thank you guys for all the advice and if you have more I will always listen and take it.
