Is it normal for a 8.5 week old puppy to pee every few minutes? It's been a while since I had a puppy and I just can't remember if this is normal? I love her pee or not!
Pick up out of Kennel - take outside to 'Pee area' when puppy Pee'd praise and treat. back inside to play.
(Once I sat Tori down by the door to open the door, that quick - Puddle)
Water or Food, RIGHT Back outside, until the same
and yes, it was like every hour or so then stretched it out to 2 to 3 hours. Ahhhh waking up every hour or 2, to go out in the cold, in the rain, and the snow for a 30 second pee break. then back to sleep (for her!)
:)

pups can 'hold it' for an hour for every month they are old, plus 1 hour. So a 2 month old pup should be good for 3 hours. If your pup is going more frequently maybe a check of her urine is in order, although a UTI in a pup so young would be unusual.
The other possibility might be that the tubes from her kidney(s) could be improperly located into the bladder wall. This can cause a young bladder to not stretch and enlarge enough to hold the volume she can produce in several hours, so she goes more frequently. I had a rescue bullie in 10+ years ago that had this problem (Ectopic ureter), and surgery helped her a lot.
Kippahs experience
We took Kippah out once an hour at that age, and had no accidents, at 10 weeks we got to two hours
Every few minutes sounds a little much to me!

hummm memory serves me....
