Hi everyone!
Lola my bulldog is in her last week of pregnancy and I have started monitoring her temperature and have found that her temp has been hovering between 98-100 the last four days. Is this cause for concern? I know a bulldog's temp is usally higher than 100.
Thoughts?

Temp
drops when they are getting close to due date.
Temp....
When temp drops below 98, labor is supposed to begin within 24 hrs. Temp is not the only indicator, and shouldn't be relied on without taking into consideration size of litter and monitoring her behavior, eating, whether milk has come in and estimated due date. When carrying only one or two puppies, sometimes the hormones to begin labor don't kick in, and they don't show any signs, so it's helpful if progesterone testing was done for ovulation, and due date is about 63 days later. Good luck!
