I just had my first experience and my girl didn't skip a beat while pregnant. At the adivce of my vet, I switched her to puppy food and mixed hamburger twice a week in her food. She loves fruit so for treats, she got cantalope and honey dew melon. For 'our' first time, she delivered 7 healthy babies without any complications with milk production and has bounced back nicely. The puppies will be 4weeks this Friday.
