PLEASE HELP
Submitted by NicoleANDLacy on June 19, 2011 - 4:52pmPlease help my baby has been shakking and walking funny like she wanted down. She came close but i picked her up and held her she is in my lap now. I called my vet she said it can wait unless she starts shaking again or her temp goes up. Her temp is 102.0. She is fine now and the shaking lasted for a minute or two.
She seems fine now her gums are pink and responds when i call her name, What do you all think it is. Thanks so much!
How old is she?
First off, thank goodness she's feeling better, now. I know how frightening that must have been!
Has she been eating OK (I'm thinking low blood sugar?).
Did the shaking effect her entire body, or was it just her head? (I'm thinking head shakes - looks MUCH worse than it is)
Was her breathing OK? (they can pass out from a vomit drop - was she hacking/retching?)
Was she active/hot before the incident? (palate issues?)

I agree, it may be head shakes.
If that happens again give her a tablespoon of Karo syrup or anything with sugar in it. If she responds you will have your answer.
