Pizza Face pity party

2671 p1050859.jpg

Exhibit A

Sorry for  yet another "chacne" lament but I need to vent a bit.

I know everyone is telling me that Tuffy is just suffering from juvenile acne and that it will eventually pass but I guess I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around how this beautiful face (bottom photo)  can turn into this (top photo)  in a matter of months. I just want my poor boy to get back to normal asap!!

Poor Tuffy! But he will be good as new in no time!

LOL! It takes time, and patience, to get them through their teen years!!! He will be fine sooner than later:-)

Awwww

He is a very cute bully even with his acne. My boy Mr. Higgins had the teenage bumps as a youngster too. He went on antibiotics once for it, but he just had to outgrow it. Ever since then he has had a red chin which I just make sure I wipe his face whenever he drinks if I can catch him. I accept the red chin as a bully thing.

what are you giving him

is he on vit c? this helps alot with acne and will help keep it from becoming a staph infection.....is he getting a good fish oil supplement like salmon or cod liver...these are loaded with omega.....

kimrisa's picture

Thanks, Judy! I tried ester c and salmon oil in the past...but

his tummy rebelled. I'm willing to try again since he's older now. Any recommendations of dosage for vitamin c? I believe you'd mentioned once you prefer that over Ester C, correct? Although I heard Ester c might be easier on the tummy...

when starting

either vit c or ester c.....go low does first 500mg....but do it every three days...one tab  ...i always give a tums with my vit c...bulls seem to have a sensitive stomach.....

this is really helpful for them....i would even cut the vit c in half...till he got use to it.....cod liver tab is also important...need those omegas for beautiful skin!!!!!
