Hi Guys,
Need some advice, my boy Baron has peed in his crate overnight twice now....I have crate trained them both since I got them and this has never happened.
I don't know if he is just being lazy or maybe he has a bladder infection?

Is there a cushion in his crate?
Our Milton does this. If there is a cushion or a pillow in his crate, he marks it. He is 100% potty trained and knows the difference between inside and outside and potty but he absolutely cannot have a cushion in his crate or he'll pee on it. We even have to lock up the other dog's crate, which has a cushion in it, during the days or he will sneak in there and pee on that one, too.

he may be marking. If he is not acting right bring a pee sample to vet to get checked. It's more unusual for a male to get a UTI than a female.
He is definitely acting normal
He is eating very well although I did change their food over the weekend, but I am still mixing it half and half with the puppy food he has been on all along.
I will try without the cushion and see if he is just being a boy...

Yes he has a cushion
I think I will try him without one tonight and see if that helps, if not then it's off to the vet to get it checked.

M.H. did this too
he was 8 mos old and had been trained since 4 1/2 mos. I was alarmed so took him to the vet. He had an abundance of oxalate crystals in his urine as well as a UTI. The crystals caused the infection. His diet was changed and he never had that problem again. He is no longer on prescription food. He is 6 now. Yesterday was his birthday. My sweet boy.
Thanks for the help
Hopefully he doesn't have an infection.
