Okay so this has now happened 5 times at least over the past two months or so... Abby our 1yr 9mth old Bully has not had accidents since she was approx 7mths old! about 2 months ago she was asleep on my daughter's bed and she pee'd and it ruined her mattress it soaked thru her blanket sheets and mattress pad. I thought well maybe it was just some wierd something I was not happy about it but ... What was I to do! then it was a her blanket on her bed... then it was MY bed then it was on a blanket on my couch and tonight the 5th time on My bed again! Is there something wrong with her? she seems to do this when we are not home. and I promise you she goes out right before we leave (its the last thing she does) and the second we get home as soon as we unlock the door she is out the door. I am really at my wits end! Should I take her to the vet? She pee's and poops norm no problems there she holds it if we are home ... do you think this could be behavioral or she just get soooo cozy in the bed where she knows she does not belong as we DO NOT let her sleep in our bed... that she is losing control. Should I start crating her again when we are not home? Sorry for so many questions. I just think this is more behavioral than an illness if she had a UTI or Bladder infection it would be happening all the time? She eats sleeps drinks plays all as norm. HELP has anyone ever experianced this? Oh and I should add I really think this happens in her sleep..... one of the times she was wet ?
Thanks ladies its been a while for me Life just seems to be moving at 150 mph!
Hope all is well
Dawn Abby's Mommy!
better check to see if its uti , just in case...
kibby was always good about peeing outside too, until occassionally she would pee inside, out of now where.. even if we were home... we thought she was pissed because we went out without her, or we thought she was getting too lazy to make it to the door or let us know she had to go... so then we took some pee in a super clean (sterile) tupper ware ( we had sneak up behind her with a flat sandwich container while she was squatting) to the vet and sure enough, she had a uti, so it wasnt her fault.. it was because she couldn't hold it in... antibiotics for a week and all better... cranberry supplements here and there and also making sure her monkey is clean regularly (they are so low to ground u know!).. and we switched her to a different food with less protein; also someone said NB duck and potato was giving their bully urine crystals too.

Yes.. I thought about doing the same thing ...
On Tuesday when the vet opens But I just think that if it was a UTI she would be peeing blood and very very sick since this has been over a good 2 month period of time.. We had a male cat that we thought was just peeing in spots because he was mad at us for some reason and it too started on our bed well a week later he had pee'd infront of my fridge and it had some blood in it and he would pee very small spots I went to pick him up and blood went everywhere He had to spend 3 days at the vet.. so just thinking the fact that its been 5 times over the past 2 months makes me think deep sleep or behavioral. But I do plan to take a sample in just like my two leg kids I rather be safe than sorry! Thanks for your reply Have a super labor day!
hopefully, its not behavorial...
because that would take more then just some antibiotics to fix. Kibby did have a little bit of blood in her urine the last time.... but soo little that you couldn't even see it because it would just dilute out with the rest of her pee.... another time she had uti and i didnt see any blood at all. good luck!

I would take a urine sample to my vet....
Just to be certain it isn't health related. Sounds to me like she is not happy when you are gone. I would crate her when you are out of the house all the time to keep her from doing this.

Urine Fine......
Vet said its most likely behavioral............ Who Knows looks like back to the crate for Ms Abby when we are not home.. I think she just gets way to cozy on the bed haha but No more accidents on mom and dad's Bed!!!
Thanks Everyone!
