Peanut butter overdose?

So the girlfriend dropped a jar of natural peanut butter (100% peanuts) and Oliver was able to gobble up about a half jar before she could get it cleaned up. He always has a small glob with his allergy med in the morning but not much more. He has been having 3-4 diarrhea BMs a day for a day and a half now. He also must have had to go really bad last night because I found he had gone to the bathroom in our bathroom which he hasnt done since he was a couple months old. Not too worried because he is eating and drinking and behaving normally but I would have thought this would have passed pretty quickly. Has anyone elses dog had something similar happen? Its quite watery. Thanks.

it will tighten his bowels up....peanut butter is high in sugar....but he'll be ok....henery ate a whole jar of peter pan....

we fill our kongs with peanut butter, altho it's probably not as much as your guy ingested. Maybe try giving him a tablespoon of canned pumpkin on his food and you could also try a bland diet for a day or two to settle his stomach (cooked rice and hamburger).

Peanut butter is high in fat and your bullie is probably not used to that much. A few days on ground turkey or hamburger with rice and a little canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie) should get him back to normal.

Thanks so much for the advice. We will grab some pumpkin today and the rice and chicken are cooking now. Im sure we wont mind getting to eat chicken for a couple days.
