Need advice/info!!!

Never on an eye lid
but Norbert had several skin tags on his legs when he got older.

My girl Zoe is 11 1/2 and has developed both stye and skin tags on her eye lids during the past year. I definitely recommend a trip to the vet. In case it is rubbing on the eye which can potentially cause a ulcer. Zoe's are on the lid under the lashes closest to the eye but, they do not touch the eye. Our vet only wants to remove them as a last resort because of her age. We are cautiously monitoring them. If they get too large or cause her discomfort he'll try removing them while she is partially sedated rather than completely under. It's wierd sometimes they appear smaller than others. I might add Zoe has dry eye in both eyes because the breeder we got her from had the glands removed rather than tacked down. We use Tacrolimus drops twice a day. My 12 year old has recently developed something like a small skin tag on her upper eyelid between lashes and eye, too, but it doesn't seem to be rubbing or affecting her in any way either, and I don't plan to take her to the vet for it unless it does bother her. She also gets Tacrolimus drops for dry eyes, but never had cherry glands removed or tacked....sometimes it just happens--Bulldogs are supposed to be predisposed to dry eye. Some people get dry eye, too, as they age--as well as skin tags.
