Natual Balance Vegetarian Formula

I have just got the vegetarian formula and bottled water and have had her on it for a month. Tear stains are gone and biting has almost stopped. Her coat is good and her eyes are clear. I just want to know what everyone thinks of using a vegetarian formula. Should I give her any supplements?

What is the protein source?
I think it sounds like your pup is doing great! Good job with that! I am interested to know what the protein source is though....I have a problem right now with my girl and am going back to NB, wonder if the Vegi would be good for her....

I don't think it gets the best review's but it sure has done wonders for my girl. I have really tried everything including raw with no luck. Every dog is different and therefore every food will affect dogs differently. She has been on this for over a month and it has made her tear stains non existant....She is also biting her feet much less. I must say I also changed to bottled water...I will give her another month and then maybe start feeding her 1 different food per month and maybe find out which one bothers her.
The fifth ingredient is potato protein… the dry residue remaining after removing the starchy part of a potato. This product contains over 80% plant protein… so it will almost surely account for a good portion of the reported protein in this dog food.
