My 1 1/2 bulldog drinks water and vomits a LOT of pleghm
Submitted by justsaypadillas on December 28, 2011 - 12:57amI adopted Nico from a coworker who bought him and had him two weeks only, My husband and I have had him for 4 months and for the last week he'll drink water and little while later he'll vomit watery phlegm, it's gotten worse, he's lost his appetite, i'm going to see if i can get him seen by vet tomorrow, but yesterday and today he's not interested in food, snacks at all, he just wants to sleep, please help with all the advice u can, we r new Bulldog owners, we didnt know anything about the breed when we took him in, poor fella needed a home. We've now come to love Nico so much, i am so worried
Vet time!
Anytime bully's look sick or won't eat, is a strong indication that they need help. Maybe it's pneumonia? If so, u need antibiotics quick... Bully's are very sensitive to everything so I strongly suggest that u read thru this whole website to learn as much as you can! They are truly a different and needy breed! Good luck!

Agree - call the vet asap and
Agree - call the vet asap and have them see Nico....not wanting to eat or drink is serious. Please let us know what the doctor's determine is the issue - we all like to learn so if and when we experience the same thing we'll know what to do.

Diagnosis: upper respiratory infection
Got Nico to see in vet yesterday, they did labs and xrays, he spent the night at vet's. Upper resp infection, on antibiotics, doing much better already ate, but very tired from the whole ordeal, snoring away as we speak.
