Mucus in Stool

About a month ago I posted about Rocco having the stomach flu (as diagnosed by the vet) after a few days Rocco was feeling better but a couple of days later he was passing blood again with a good amount of mucus.  I sent a stool sample to the vet which came out negative. Since that didn't give me an answer I made an appt. to see his vet.  She gave him a rectal exam, and cleaned out his anal glands (which were very full).  She prescribed tylan powder twice a day for 10 days. He did great on the tylan.  After 10 days I called her up to tell her but also told her that I was afraid of what will happen once Rocco is off of this for a while. She agreed and with this she said to keep him on it for one more week.  Last wednesday (6 days ago) was the last day he took the tylan powder.  Today he had two pretty normal stools in a row with a lot of mucus on them...very slippery to pick up!  What can this be?? and do you think I should give him some tylan powder with his food today?  Thank you!

The one time my Bully had

The one time my Bully had mucus in his poop it turned out to be round worm, but since yours has already had a sample examined and it was negative. I'm not really sure what to tell you. Did they look for worms when they examined it?

Not sure

I'm assuming they check for everything?
