Medicine to calm a bully down?

My boy was traumatized by fireworks when he was 6 months old and every since then he has been psycho! He will be 3 years old in December. We can't do anything anymore around here without him biting at us(he has never bit the blood out of anyone but he will jump up on you and bite at you). We have to put him up when we are fixing food, when we go out to the garage and get something, and sometimes even when one of us come in the house he will bite at us. No one can make any sudden moves, and when he goes off he gets so stressed out his tongue turns blue and you have to go up behind him to pick him up or he will continue to go after the person. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this? I didn't know if there was medicine out that you could give them to not be as stressed out or what. I worry about him either one day really hurting someone or getting so stressed out he has a heart attack. I would appreciate any advise anyone could give me because I have no clue what to do.

Rescue remedy is good for calming them down...

you can buy it at a health food store or Whole Foods type store.  I used to use about 12 drops right on the tongue for our girl that would freak out over a thunderstorm.  If I were you though, I think I would look into a trainer or behaviorist to see if you can help him control himself.  There are some trainers listed on the home page and believe me, it's well worth the money.  Just be sure that they use positive reinforcement, you don't want him scared if that's what causes his biting.

Hi. This sounds like much more than noise fear issues.....

I would seriuosly get a vet to do a through exam, and if no medical issues lay behind his aggression, then you need to look into a VERY GOOD trainer/behaviorist. This is NOT normal behaviour and someone IS going to get hurt, possibly seriously, by this boy.

I agree with Ay you need a trainer ASAP

my bullies (5)  are ocd, many of their behaviors are learned from each other.  Lola hated the vacuum, broom, anything big .  She would attack it to kill it, Spike was very calm at that point but in time he adopted her behavior, and now they have to be put up to vacuum.  spike also hates plastic bags, he learned this from Dallas and now Mack attacks them too.  My trainer is working with them to overcome their fears, but in all of this NEVER has any of them attacked or bit at me.
