Probably the

start of an interdigital cyst.  There are many treatments people use.  Some use Prep H on it.  (Its a cyst like a hemorroid)  Some do bleach soaks.  Some do epsom salt soaks.  Onslow hasnt had them so I don't know which works best.  Perhaps some others will chime in.

Pssst we need some new pics of him!! ;)

There are many remedies and not all work for all Bulldogs. Soaks with bleach or epsom salts are a good start, and perhaps nothing further will be needed. You don't rinse after the soaks, but pat dry and be careful he doesn't walk on your carpet until his feet are completely dry if you used the bleach. I understand you shouldn't use both Prep H and epsom salts at the same time because one is to shrink it, and the other to draw it out. Some people have luck using Animax on them. I now use a prescription cream called Fluocinonide 1%. Good luck.

Interdigital Cyst

I agree -- sounds like an interdigital cyst.  Beatrix had one months ago, and I had no idea what it was -- thank goodness my husband is internet savvy, or I'd have been rushing her to the hospital!

We treated it with epsom salt soaks and hemmeroid gel.  Did the gel twice a day, and soaked it once a day, patting dry afterwards.  If I recall, it went away in about a week of this treatment.
