Our new bulldog Stella is an old english bulldog and we just noticed a lump on the back of one of her hind legs. Stella is about 10 weeks old and we just noticed the lump last night. I have a vet appointment made for Monday but hoping someone here can tell me what it might be. Lump is fairly large and appeared very quickly. Lump is a little smaller then a golf ball and does not seem to bother her at all. Again hoping someone might be able to tell me what this might be. My daughter who Stella was a present for is very concerned.

If it's on the very back of her leg...
it could be a lymph node, I know they have some back there along with the neck area. At her age, if that's what it is, it's likely from an infection. She probably needs to see the vet. Can you post a picture of where it is?
could be a bunched
muscle...try applying a little heat warm wash cloth....lymph nodes are high up in the groin area....some vets still give shots in the muscle of the rear legs and they bunch...or just over exercised....but when you see your point it out
No it could be lymph
they have nodes right behind their knees. Onslows got inflamed once when he was fighting something off.
Agree .... They have lymph nodes
there as well. But isn't golf ball size really big for a lymph node. They are usually pea sized.
Either way a vet visit is in order.
